The latest Tile Fashions - A Review of Cersaie 2015

One of the things we love best about working in the tile industry is that trends and fashions in tiles change so often. This has been especially true over the last 5-6 years where the advent of digital and other technological advances has meant that tile companies can now expertly recreate the look and equally as importantly the feel of other coverings such as natural stone, wood and concrete as well as pushing the boundaries more with colours and designs. Cersaie - The biggest International tile fair takes place each year in early October in Bologna. This year marked our 21st year in attendance. Tile Fashions while not radical this year showed a slight shift towards marble style( white marbles in particular!) as well as a (excuse the pun) Big focus on Ultra large format tiles ( Up to 3 metre slabs!). The use of colour was somewhat less obvious than in recent years -however it hasn't gone away you know, and there were some notable exceptions.
